Alfred Prince

Co-founders Alfred and Thomas are brothers who have been playing chess together for years. Alfred, who learned how to play chess through trial and error, focuses his teachings on finding the best move in any given position and isn’t afraid to be down on the clock even versus his lower-rated opponents. Alfred has an unconventional approach to the game of chess which will be evident during his sessions. During these sessions, Alfred will discuss the concept of tempo as well as positional play and tactics. Here at ChessMastersAcademy, head chess coach Alfred is dedicated to the game of chess and is always looking to improve his play and wants to take on intermediate students who are willing to take on that challenge as well. Thomas Prince

Co-founders Alfred and Thomas are brothers who have been playing chess together for years. Thomas, who learned how to play chess under the guidance of his older brother Alfred, specializes in quick play gut decision making and isn’t afraid of taking on stronger opponents. Thomas focuses on opening principles and takes a more direct approach to the game of chess which will be evident during his sessions. During these sessions, Thomas will go over piece movement/coordination, opening principles, and checkmate patterns. Here at ChessMastersAcademy, head coach Thomas is dedicated to the game of chess and wants to take on beginner students who want to take their first step into the world of chess.
